Pubs
There are around 180 pubs in the Keighley and Craven area. These include cosy town-centre street-corner locals, rural gems, market-town hotels and many more. We are lucky in that nearly all sell some real ale, and it is often of a high standard.
Clubs
There are around 30 private clubs in the Keighley and Craven area. These include social clubs such as those in Oxenhope, Addingham and Settle and sports clubs such as Keighley Cricket Club, Broughton Road Bowling Club (Skipton) and Branshaw Golf Club (Oakworth). About half of these sell some real ale, click for a list of these (July 2016). We present an annual Club of the Year award in the spring.
To promote and support our pubs and clubs we present regular awards:
- Keighley and Craven CAMRA Pub of the Year
- Keighley and Craven CAMRA Club of the Year
- Keighley and Craven CAMRA Pub of the Season
- Keighley and Craven CAMRA Improved Pub award
We have also produced local guide leaflets to some areas:
- Settle and Giggleswick pubs leaflet (March 2013)
- Keighley pubs leaflet (September 2012)
- Skipton pubs leaflet (partially updated October 2017)
- Worth Valley pubs leaflet (September 2010)
